Vera Sidika
Socialite Vera Sidika and singer Brown Mauzo started their romantic journey in 2020 after a quick romance. Brown Mauzo proposed to Vera on September 30th, 2020, during her 32nd birthday celebrations. Just a month later, Vera excitedly announced that they were married. The couple, who became parents to Asia Brown and later welcomed their second child, Prince Ice Brown early this year, often shared their love and affection publicly, becoming an inspiration for many as a ‘couple goals’ example.
However, in a surprising turn of events around August this year, The Love hitmaker revealed their decision to split, a choice he described as beneficial for them and their children.
“Dear friends and supporters, I wanted to take a moment to share some personal news. After much consideration, Vera Sidika and I have decided to part ways. Our journey together has been filled with unforgettable moments, but we have reached a point where it’s best for both of us and our babies, Asia Brown and Ice Brown, to move forward separately,” he stated in his announcement.
Shortly after this announcement, Vera introduced her new love interest, Gideon Brown, a 29-year-old model, dancer, and actor based in New York City. Her Instagram posts overflowed with affection as she referred to Gideon as ‘my partner in madness’, sharing their moments together with her followers.
Brown Mauzo
Despite releasing an entire album dedicated to Vera Sidika, his baby mama, the relationship between the two still reached its end.
Three months following their public announcement of separation, the father of five, showing a readiness to embrace new beginnings, shared his intentions to start a new chapter with someone else. He conveyed this through sincere messages posted on his Instagram stories.
He wrote, “My goal is to build with you, grow with you, and marry you. I’m not dating to waste time. I see everything I want in you, my love Chiiiiiiii.”
Additionally, he stated his determination to put his partner’s needs and happiness above all else. “She turned to me and said: ‘Hold me.’ So I dropped the world I had been holding and picked her up with both hands. For her, I want to be the best, and I don’t want these emotions to fade.”
Josh Wonder
TikTok sensation Josh Wonder revealed his new lover, Ashley, less than three months after a bitter split with influencer Ajib Gathoni. In photos paraded over his social media accounts, Josh showcased having a good time and embracing each other romantically.
Though they never announced it publicly, they accompanied some of their posts with love and kissing emojis. Prior to them dating, Josh was romantically involved with Ajib whom he accused of cheating on him with several men while they were dating. He suggested that his love for her led him to compromise more than once or twice, hoping it would stop, but it kept happening until he decided to rip the bandage off.
“In a relationship, it’s wrong to have an affair, for me, I tried to compromise from November to February but it kept happening, I’m a person who can forgive cheating because I know we’re human and it can happen, so if it happens once we can work together to fix it, but it didn’t happen once, it kept happening,” he revealed in an interview.
