Tech entrepreneur, designer and human rights advocate Donnya ‘Zi’ Piggott has eulogized her lover Thogori Karago, ex- LinkedIn boss.

While reminiscing and sharing some of the moments they shared together, the LGBTQ advocate said that Thogori would want to be remembered like the baddie she was.

“I’ve never met someone who vibrated as high as you. Who looked at the world the way you did. Who was as smart as you are, Thogori was genius – like an actual genius. Valedictorian of Carnegie Mellon. Stubborn and always in control…such a Queen. So unapologetic. I’m sorry the world lost you…go and be with your grandmother, sweetheart. Rest in Peace my forever love,” she said.

The duo had started up a startup that saw inclusion of the LGBT+ crew travelling and tourism.

In a previous interview, Zi said the event, dubbed Pink Coconuts goal, aimed at creating employment and business opportunities for LGBT+ people.

Ms Thogori was found dead at the Radisson Hotel in Westlands, Nairobi on Friday.

Preliminary investigations show she had diabetes.

The 33-year-old was the co-founder and chief technology officer of Pink Coconuts and shared the same thoughts as Ms Zia on matters LGBTQ people.
