‘Lions, Chopper…,’ Mike Sonko’s daughter Sandra reveals dowry demand

Mike Sonko’s daughter, Sandra has revealed her extravagant dowry demands, which include unconventional items such as lions and Bentleys.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Sandra engaged her followers in a candid Question and Answer session.

Among the inquiries, she disclosed her parents’ staggering dowry expectations.

“My parents want five lions 3 choppers 22 Bentley, 4 rovers, and 500 million pounds (Sh87,476,366,250),” she declared.

Further, Sandra responded to yet another fan who inquired if she would fully submit to her man and she said, ‘No’.

Sandra reflected on her past relationships, revealing a shift in her approach to dating following a disappointing experience with a previous boyfriend.

“A long time ago, I used to date anyone, but let me say that got me embarrassed and used. I never post my relationships, just a hand. Coz if there is no ring on my finger, you think I’m gonna post you on the gram? I look for a Loyal, above 6ft, and a man who knows his worth,” she candidly shared.

When asked about her criteria for identifying a genuine partner, Sandra emphasised the importance of commitment, self-awareness, and maintaining high standards.

“I feel it’s the way you commit, how you carry yourself, like the person I’m dating, he is one of those posh kids, they come from a really good family, like a rich background, so like knowing your worth, like you don’t have to lower your standards,” she said.

In September, 2023, Sandra earned the opportunity to pursue a four-year course at Brighton International University in London.

Mike Sonko will spend approximately KSh 6 million annually towards his daughter’s tuition fees.

According to the University of Brighton’s official website, tuition fees for degree course vary depending on the chosen field of study, ranging from £14,770 (Sh 2,682,390.58) to £17,320 (Sh 3,144,704.52).

Furthermore, it’s important to consider various additional expenses associated with living and studying in Brighton, apart from tuition fees.

While announcing the good news, Mike Sonko took to his Instagram page to share the exciting news with his followers, expressing a mix of emotions as he prepares to bid farewell to his daughter.

Sandra recently graduated from St. Austins Academy in Nairobi, and her next chapter promises to be an exciting adventure in higher education abroad.
