LIVE: Mama Lucy Kibaki requiem mass
A requiem Mass is underway in Nairobi to celebrate the life of former First Lady Lucy Kibaki, who died at a London hospital last week.
The ceremony, at the Consolata Shrine, Westlands, has been attended by dignitaries including President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto.
Various roads in the capital city are expected to be closed from early morning to afternoon for the event.

Lucy described as loving mother, role model and mentor. Lucy was born Lucy Muthoni Kagai in October 26 1934 at Tumu Tumu mission hospital, Nyeri and was one of the ten children to the late Reverend John Kagai, a pioneer PCEA minister and the late Rose Nyachomba Kagai.
She joined Mihuti primary school and later Tumu Tumu Missionary School. From there, she proceeded to Alliance Girls High school in Kiambu County.
Ms Kibaki trained as a teacher at Kambui Teacher College in Kiambu and taught at Kangaru Girls School before joining her alma mater, Kambui Teachers College as a tutor.
