On Monday, a broken valve that had caused the Ngethu water treatment plant to be shut down was repaired and water supply restored in the Central Business District, the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) and Kenya Breweries.
City residents in different estates have raised complaints over fluctuating water supply, decrying interruptions, decreased pressure and in some cases dry taps for days.
