Notorious city carjacker finally gunned down
One of the most notorious carjacking suspects has been gunned down in Buruburu and a Beretta Pistol with 10 bullets recovered from him.
The suspect, who goes by alias Papa, was shot dead early morning at the Kiambiu stage as he and two others waited to board a bus they had targeted.
The two others escaped towards Kiambiu slums and police say they are pursuing them.
Lately, a gang has been carjacking buses very early in the morning in Buruburu and Donholm.
Police believe the suspect in Thursday 6 a.m. incident was the gang leader. The body of the slain suspect has been moved to the City Mortuary.
