Oliech’s ex-girlfriend makes long-awaited music comeback
Kenyan songbird Meg C, real name Nasra Salim, who once dated former Harambee Stars captain, Dennis Oliech, has made her music comeback after her decade-long hiatus.
The petite lass recently released her first single in years titled Habeeby, a love song produced by Mombasa based renowned producer Shirko.
Meg C shot into the limelight eight years ago when she was featured as the main video vixen in Jimwat’s Under 18 hit song.
MUSIC BREAK
She went on to attract unrivaled media attention when she started dating the former Harambee Stars ace, who was at his prime of his career then.
That marked Meg C’s grand entry into fame and she went on to release a few singles including her 2006 song Nipe, which was a big hit in the Kenyan music scene.
Meg C would then take a break from music in 2007 when she got married at the tender age of 20.
NEW RELEASE
In a past interview with Daily Nation, Meg C said she took a break from music to concentrate on her marriage.
Sadly, the marriage was short lived as she lost her husband after just three years. She fell into depression and has since been struggling to make her comeback in music.
With her newly released single, the mother of one, who also works as air hostess with Qatar Airways, has vowed to reclaim her lost glory.
