A spot check from Nairobi News could not locate the controversial tweet that read, “I feel sorry for my beloved 3rd country…Kenya. Kenya cannot survive without us, Ugandans.

Therefore, I forgive them all. Rename Westlands, where we lived, ‘Kololo.’ In honour of Uganda. ”

Kenyans had prior reacted to the remarks saying;

“Muhoozi must stop using marijuana,” said Peter Wanamusala.

“The people who are going down always feel like they are on top,” shared Na’aye.

“There’s something fishy guys huyu hii kuropoka sii bure😏,” opined Naomi.

“Muhoozi is very right. We get a lot of agricultural products from Uganda. 80% of our milk is from Uganda, eggs, maize, chickens etc,” said Benard Jackosele.

These are not the first scathing attacks on Kenya the Ugandan general has shared. In October, the controversial Muhoozi observed that he would only need two weeks to capture Nairobi.

The only son of President Museveni first expressed discontent with former President Uhuru Kenyatta’s not running for a third term in office despite the Kenyan constitution prohibiting him from saying he would have won easily.

Additionally, Muhoozi opined that Mr Kenyatta would have borrowed from his father, change the constitution and run again. President Museveni has benefitted twice from a constitutional change allowing him to run for close to four decades.

“Haha! I love my Kenyan relatives. Constitution? Rule of law? You must be joking! For us, there is only the Revolution and you will soon learn about it!”

The wild tweets would then cause a diplomatic tiff between Kenya and Uganda with top government officials holding meetings to discuss the message Muhoozi shared.

Additionally, President Museveni, 78, took it upon himself to apologize on behalf of his son after promoting him to the highest Ugandan army rank.
