Riggy G asks Kenyan men to pamper their spouses with ‘salon’ money

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has appealed to Kenyan men to find ways of pleasing their spouses despite the high cost of living.

Speaking in Nairobi on March 2, 2023, during the re-launch of the Women Enterprise Fund and Second Product of the Hustler Fund at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC), the DP shared a few tips for making their wives smile.

He further assured Kenyans that President William Ruto’s government will improve the economy and make money available for men so that they spoil their wives.

Gachahgua claimed that due to the current economic hardships, women are no longer being pampered with trips to the salon leaving them to cover their heads.

“A woman is about cloth and wallet. If they have money, this head-covering thing will only be worn on Sundays. Other days they will be taken to town and be put in a sauna,” the DP said.

The DP said like other men, he is a happy man whenever his wife Pastor Dorcas dresses smartly.

“You need to take care of your wives. At times just give her Sh3000 and do not ask her what she will do with it. I am told nowadays men are asking for accountability even for Sh1000.”

Kenyans have been forced to shoulder the high prices of fuel, food and other basic commodities like electricity in the past few months.

President William Ruto who was present at the event assured Kenyans the economy will soon be stable.

The Head of State also announced a significant reduction of gas prices in the country, saying this will help Kenyans champion the use of clean energy.
