Celebrated TV host, comedian, actor, and author Steve Harvey has taken a stand to defend his beloved wife, Marjorie Harvey, addressing various misconceptions surrounding her and their relationship.

Steve Harvey, a father of seven, passionately spoke about Marjorie, emphasizing that she was the best thing that ever happened to him.

He wanted to set the record straight on several misconceptions and provide insight into their loving relationship.

“The woman I married is a good woman!” declared the iconic TV host.

Steve clarified that Marjorie hadn’t requested his public defense; in fact, she was against it.

However, out of his deep love and respect for her, he felt compelled to address the falsehoods that had been circulating.

“My wife asked me not to do it because she said, ‘Steve, all those haters are going to do is flip anything you say in reverse.’ Well, you’re doing it anyway, and you’re out there lying on my girl. You’re tearing away at her character,” expressed the TV show host in a heartfelt video message.

“I’m tired. But she’s got to be tired. The woman I married is the best thing that’s ever happened to me. She’s God-fearing, she’s loyal, she’s faithful. And she’s a kind and loving person,” Steve continued.

Addressing rumors about their relationship, Steve Harvey confronted allegations of infidelity during his previous marriage to Mary Shackelford, asserting that his divorce occurred in 2005, before his relationship with Marjorie began.

He dispelled claims that Marjorie had played a role in the dissolution of his second marriage.

“And quit talking about how she was in my other marriage and ruined it! I got divorced in 2005. My marriage was over when Kings of Comedy came out. Y’all didn’t know that,” Steve clarified.

Steve further explained that when they rekindled their romance in 2006, he was in a financially challenging situation, having lost his radio show and a TV program at the time.

He said Marjorie stood by him and supported him as he worked to rebuild his career and financial stability.

“We had nothing. She didn’t marry into any lap of riches. I had nothing,” he emphasized. “This woman got in the hole and built this with me. She didn’t steal anything! And I’m tired of y’all talking about my girl because my girl is one of the best women I’ve ever met.”

Steve Harvey concluded his message by expressing the strength of their bond, asserting that nothing could break them apart.

Steve and Marjorie Harvey’s love story began in 1990 when they briefly dated, but the timing wasn’t right.

However, years later, they reconnected and solidified their union, marrying on June 25, 2007.

Their marriage brought together their respective families, resulting in a blended family of seven children.
