TikToker Kelvin Kinuthia has called out netizens who consistently discuss and make assumptions on his sexual orientation.

In a recent interview, the TikTok star who is known to cross dress, says he doesnt appreciate all the rumours surrounding him, suggesting further that they could affect his growing brand.

One thing that annoys me is when people fill in on stories that I haven’t even commented on,” he explained.

“So I would like people to stop assuming my sexual orientation. I’ve never told anyone about my sexuality. Until I say something about it, it remains unknown, people should stop making assumptions.”

Kinuthia’s orientation came to the fore when he was a city girl accused him of snatching her boyfriend.

Further, these assumptions surface stem from some of his videos on the social media channel where he dresses like a woman and imitates female theatrics.

Kinuthia has garnered a vast following on the video-making platform commanding over 485,000 viewers on the channel. He, however, said that before fame, he barely knew what TikTok was and it was only after high school that he actively pursued that venture.

“I didn’t know what TikTok was, I heard it from a friend. I think I was in form three, during the December holiday I decided to find out what TikTok was all about. At the time, I used to watch videos of stars like Azziad. I found it interesting how people made videos and shared them, but I didn’t start immediately. My mum bought me a phone when I finished High School and that’s when I started making videos.”

Despite being spotted with several personalities in his videos leading to speculations about his dating life, Kinuthia remains reluctant to share details of his private life.

“My relationship status, for now, is on a personal level. When it’s the right time I will let you know,” he said.
