Tusker players accused of ‘sabotaging’ Kimanzi


Just under a week since the Tusker management assured embattled coach Francis Kimanzi of his future at the club, claims of players’ sabotage have emerged at the Ruaraka based club.

According to a a source privy to happenings at the club, a group of players are allegedly hell bent on ensuring that Kimanzi does not succeed in his job.

The source claims that the players, who are said to have reservations with the tactician’s training methods, have made life difficult for the former Mathare United man, often failing to carry out instructions during matches.

“They thought that by sabotaging Kimanzi they would have their way once he was fired,” the source told Nairobi News.
