Watu sio wajinga! Karen Nyamu responds to Edday’s recent claim of life threats in Kenya

Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu has found herself at the center of controversy once again, this time in response to a statement made by Edday Nderitu, the estranged wife of musician Samidoh.

Edday recently expressed gratitude on her TikTok page to her friend Bernice for helping her relocate to the United States with their three children.

In a now-deleted comment on one of Karen Nyamu’s posts, a netizen remarked:

Saa hii mwenzako angekua six feet under. Hope ungekua very proud of yourself. (Right now, your counterpart could be six feet under. I hope you would be very proud of yourself).

Known for her candid responses, Karen Nyamu fired back at Samidoh’s estranged wife, asserting that Edday was thriving while still in her marital home.

Na vile alikua amejinonea akiwa kwake alikua kapum pum smart na tumakai akismile tu macho inafungika. Watu si wajinga buana. (The way she was big while at her place, she was smart and comfortable, just smiling without worries. People are not fools, my friend).

Edday Nderitu had earlier posted a heartfelt message to Bernice Saroni during Thanksgiving, thanking her for the support in relocating to the US.

Edday responded to critics accusing her of ending her marriage with Samidoh, expressing gratitude for the positive changes in her life since moving.

“May God bless you gal, whatever you did to me and my kids, it’s something I can’t even explain. My daughter would be in rehab, and I would be 6ft under,” Edday wrote in appreciation.

The TikTok drama escalated after Bernice’s video response defending her actions in helping Edday relocate, with critics accusing her of contributing to the breakdown of Edday’s marriage.

“I am super proud of myself for what I did. Bringing her to the US Wewe unafikiria kukuja US ni rahisi? Na kukuja mpaka na watoto? One thing that I’m grateful for, is for Edday being in the US.

Hamuoni vile anaglow? Hamuoni vile watoto wake wanaglow? Anakaa tu doo, she is blessed, she’s happy. She’s at peace Ati juu mimi ni single mum mnasema ati nilimtoa kwa boma yake? What do you do to your family. You support your family, or you kill them with your words.”
