Why Diamond Platnumz cancelled Germany tour

Bongo Flava artist Diamond Platnumz has announced on his Instagram page that he has canceled his much-anticipated Berlin tour at the last minute, citing ‘unavoidable circumstances’.

Fans were eagerly looking forward to seeing the Tanzanian singer perform at the Afro Fest event in Berlin.

Still, Nairobi News understands some obligations on the part of the promoters were not fulfilled, leading to the tour’s cancellation.

“Attention Diamond Planumz fans, we regret to inform you that I will not be able to perform at the Afro Fest event in Berlin as the promoter has failed to fulfill their obligations,” he posted on his Instagram stories with the poster of the event.

Diamond Platnumz, known for his electrifying performances and hit songs, expressed his disappointment and issued an apology to his fans. He assured them that he is in touch with the promoter and is working to address the issues that led to the cancellation.

“We understand that this news may be disappointing and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused,” Diamond wrote in his Instagram post.

The Bongo Flava superstar did not provide specific details about the unfulfilled obligations, but it seems that the situation was severe enough to warrant the last-minute cancellation of the tour.

Fans have expressed their disappointment on social media, but many are also showing their support for the artist, understanding the need for Diamond to ensure that all contractual agreements are honored before performing.

Despite the setback, Diamond Platnumz remains optimistic about resolving the issue and promised to keep fans updated on any developments. “We are working with the promoter to ensure that this issue is resolved as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding,” he added.

Besides the controversies in his private life, Diamond known for hits such as Zuwena and Waaah, is among the most popular musicians in Kenya.
