Mark Maasai lands new gig after TV break
Former TV journalist Mark Masai has landed a new gig after taking a TV break.
The renowned news anchor recently quit TV after more than a decade and a half.
He is renowned for his eloquent style of reading news alongside a catchy smile.
He promised to make a comeback soonest and appears to have kept his word as on January 17, 2023, he was spotted performing the Master of Ceremony role at an event in which Tecno launched a new phone.
Donning a dark suit and matching shirt, the media personality captured the attention of those in attendance at the event with his mastery of the Queen’s language as he introduced sports legend Kipchoge Keino, who was the chief guest.
Kipchoge was recently named brand ambassador of Tecno Phantom x2 series.
“Ladies and Gentlemen, let’s give it up for our very own World marathon record holder and Olympic champion Eliud Kipchoge as he makes his way to his seat. Let’s celebrate him with joyous hearts as he makes his way in,” Masai announced to the crowd.
Besides the MC gig, the reserved TV journalist has also launched an online show where he discusses topical issues include human interest tales.
Also present at the Tecno event was Caroline Mutoko, a renowned media personality.
Kipchoge hailed the mastery of the new phone, saying he will use it to record himself during his training sessions and thereafter share some of the pictures with his followers.
