Housewife charged with assaulting house help in Kasarani
A Kasarani mum has been arraigned in court after she allegedly assaulted her house help on Tuesday night.
The woman, Karen Munini who is a mother of two, pleaded not guilty to assault charges. The case is ongoing.
The incident happened at Clay city, in Kasarani.
Kasarani OCPD Robinson Mboloi said the house help, Esther Ngaliman, was rescued by neighbors and the area chief.
The 20 year-old house help was taken to Kikuyu Mission Hospital where she was treated for head and chest injuries.
“The girl sustained head injuries and her employer was arrested by the chief and brought to the station on the same day,” Mr Mboloi told Nairobi News.
