Jail me, Raila now dares President Kenyatta
Cord leader Raila Odinga has dared President Uhuru Kenyatta to jail over claims of inciting Kenyans.
“I have been in Jail for nine years while Uhuru was born and raised in State House. He cannot threaten me with jail term,” said Mr Odinga at Maili Tatu in Igembe Central, where he drummed up support for ODM, Cord and NASA.
Mr Odinga was responding to a statement by President Kenyatta on Wednesday when he said that the Government was ready and able to ensure that no Kenyan is hurt or property destroyed because of the elections.
The President accused the opposition of constantly talking about creating chaos in the country instead of focusing on how they can convince Kenyans to vote for them.
“Stop talking of violence all the time and let us compete on policies and leave Kenyans to make their choices,” said President Kenyatta.
“Every time you open your mouth you issue crude insults and illogical allegations. This proves to Kenyans that you have no vision for this nation.”
