Don Moen in Kenya for Love Nairobi Festival gospel concert
Kenyans will be able to experience the ecstasy of the Love Nairobi Festival for the first time in the country, thanks to the Luis Palau Association in partnership with the churches of Nairobi.
The gospel event will be graced by world-renowned televangelist Andrew Palau, founder of the Love Nairobi Festival.
The three-day event will be held at the University of Nairobi Sports Grounds from Friday, 15 to 17 September.
Speaking to the press at Sarova Panafric Hotel ahead of the event, the televangelist and the entire organising team promised Kenyans an event to remember.
“One of the statements that we have is that let whole Nairobi, whole of Kenya hear the voice of God, and hear this good news in the way that they will have an opportunity to respond,” Mr Palau said.
Evangelist Palau said this will be an opportunity for the country to seek and pray for the prosperity of Kenya.

He stated that the event would be open to all people, including the youth who are very close to his heart, having spent most of his youthful life on drugs and enjoying all the pleasures of college despite being raised in a strong Christian home.
The festival will also have entertainment from local musicians, including Jabidii, Evelyn Wanjiru, Moji Shortbabaa, Sovereign, Eko Dydda, Mercy Masika, and Timeless Noel.
The internationally celebrated artists performing include Don Moen, Pompi, and Christafari.
US singer and pianist Donald James Moen, popularly known as Don Moen, is one of the greatest gospel artists and can perform in the country during the event.
Don Moen’s songs include God Will Make a Way, I Offer My Life, Give Thanks, Our Father, Trust and Obey and many more.
During the press address, Moji Shortbabaa said that it would be an opportunity for the country to seek God’s love and forgiveness.
“We are prepared for Love Festival because it’s gonna be crazy, it’s gonna be big even at the heart of the city and as for me, I’m honoured to be part of it, and we can’t wait just to spread the love of Christ,” Moji Shortbabaa said.
