I was dumped because of endometriosis – Natalie Githinji

Vibrant radio presenter Natalie Githinji candidly shares that her ongoing battle with Endometriosis has significantly impacted her dating life, creating challenges that have kept potential partners at bay.

Githinji, known for her bubbly on-air persona, has been vocal about the painful struggles she faces due to Endometriosis.

In May, she disclosed her contemplation of having her womb removed to alleviate the excruciating pains associated with the condition.

The relentless pain has rendered Githinji unable to perform certain daily activities.

At times when the pain becomes unbearable, she requires assistance, even for basic tasks like bathing, relying on the support of her mother.

“It affects a lot of things in your life, even your relationship. What man wants to date you because you are a burden? Who wants to date someone who has to be cared for when she is sick? You have to carry that person, feed them. You can’t even have sex, by the way. Of course, you can, but it’s painful. I have been dumped because I have Endo because the guy was like, why is it that you always seem to have a problem when we want to get intimate,” Natalie candidly opened up about the challenges she faces.

Endometriosis, a condition that often causes severe pelvic pain, especially during menstrual periods, has been a part of Natalie Githinji’s life since 2016.

Despite her efforts to find a curable cure, the search has been futile.

In a post shared in May, Githinji expressed her frustration, stating, “At this point, I feel like I’m going to sell my uterus or just get it removed na itupwe (thrown away) because there is no way I can be suffering with endometriosis and I can survive without the womb.”

The condition has not only taken a toll on her physical health, causing significant weight loss, but it has also left her financially strained as she continues to seek medical solutions.
