Family reveals Ngashville’s last moments at memorial service


The family of gospel musician Ngash alias Ngashville, has paid a moving tributes to the star as well as revealed what his last moments were like.

They spoke at his memorial service hosted at Nairobi Chapel, Ngong Road was attended by his close friends and fellow celebrities.

The eulogy read, “Ngash started experiencing some stomach discomfort on Friday, August 13, 2022 and on Tuesday, August 16, he started vomiting and having a constant running stomach.

Since he couldn’t keep anything down, he saw a doctor on Friday, 19 who diagnosed him with Typhoid and gave him medication.”

The family revealed that after taking the medication, he got better for a few hours but things took a turn for the worst.

The statement continued, “On Saturday, August 20, his condition deteriorated some more and he became incoherent.

In the evening of the same day, his condition got out of hand and he was then rushed to the hospital at midnight and was immediately admitted to the HDU.”

Unfortunately, his condition kept deteriorating and his blood pressure was too low necessitating the doctors to move him to the ICU.

The noted, “While in ICU, he experienced multiple organ failures as his pressure remained low despite the doctors doing all they could.

Ngash rested at 7.52 pm on Sunday, 21st of August 2022. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.”

Ngash is survived by a wife, Mercy Wambui King’ori and three daughters Arielle Annah Amani, Tikvah Kui Aria and Vahna Atara Ariana.

He will be buried tomorrow, August 27, in Githunguri, Kiambu.
