Give us a break! DP Gachagua tells off Hustler Fund critics
Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has warned politicians and those who will appear on various TV stations to criticize the launch of the Hustler Fund.
Speaking during the fund’s launch at Nairobi Green Park Bus Terminal, the Deputy President said he knows that political analysts will move from one TV station to another to debate about the fund.
He told the critics to give the Hustler Nation a break.

“I want to advise those who are not hustlers to just distance themselves from the Hustler Fund. I want to give a warning to those specialists who will be debating about the Hustler Fund to just give hustler nation a break. Let all critics, theorists and analysts give the Hustler Nation a break,” Gachagua said.
This even as President William Ruto advised beneficiaries of the fund to put the money into good use.
“We want to appeal to our people to make good use of the Hustlers Fund. Let us not misuse it,” President Ruto said.

The president also said the Sh50billion fund will enable those at the bottom of the economic pyramid to open businesses to earn their daily bread.
Once registered and loan limits assigned, applicants of the funds will be required to:
- Dial USSD code *USSD code# or mobile application.
- Select the loan request option to view the limit, interest, and loan tenure.
- Enter the loan amount and press OK to continue
- Confirm loan details as displayed to continue
- Enter Mobile Money pin
- Receive SMS notifications on Loan allocation with relevant loan information.
