Of the many ‘bro-codes’ veteran Kenyan comedian Churchill broke, the one that never sat well with Holy Dave was when he tried hitting on the one of the rapper’s four sisters.

Holy Dave, who has since immersed himself into content creation after wrapping up his music career, has said he was never comfortable with Churchill seducing his sister.

According to Holy Dave, this happened many years ago when their family moved back to Kenya from the United States.

“We came back in the 90s and went straight to live in Machakos before later relocating to Nairobi. I remember at the time Churchill was in high school and together with one of my elder sister they attended the same school. So he would come to our home and whenever the watchman stopped him he would ask to see me. Churchill would then send me to call my sister. He would tell me ‘you fool, go call me your sister’,” Holy Dave recalled amid laughter.

Holy Dave said he doesn’t appreciate when his close buddies hit on his sisters, especially the youngest Joey Muthengi, with whom they he is very close to.

“I honestly don’t know why? It’s not even about just me but rather guys in general. I can’t explain it but its feels weird when you friend is hitting on your sister. I would feel uncomfortable whenever my friends seduced my sister. It’s even worse when he is your close friend. It feels like it’s you he is seducing, because you know how he rolls. Both his good and bad side,” he said.
