‘I was born Muslim!’ Huddah shares her religious standpoint

Kenyan socialite Huddah Monroe has come out to share where she stands on matters of religion, saying that she was born a Muslim but also serves as a Christian.

Taking to her Instagram page, Huddah revealed that she is both Muslim and Christian as she loves what both religions do for her. “I am both! I practice Islam and Christianity. I can’t get enough of praise and worship songs and prayers, Islam all the way. It’s different,” Monroe said.

She went on to say that she does not believe there are two higher beings and that she believes both religions serve one God. “Why is this question such a problem? I was born a Muslim and a Christian. There’s only one God, not two. There’s no God for Muslims and one God for Christians. We all pray to one Allah,” she said.

The beauty entrepreneur has been questioned on many occasions about her stance on the subject of dominion, as many of her fans have always seen her as being of the Muslim religion due to her looks. With so many questions popping up on her dms about where she stands, Monroe was left with no choice but to come clean about what she believes in.

Barely a month ago, Monroe opened up about why she stopped creating content, saying that creators are struggling in the current social media wave. She explained that most Kenyans have entered the creative space, yet fresh content is lacking.

Through her Insta stories, the socialite said that creatives have not suddenly stopped creating content but are tired of not getting enough recognition for their work.

“Creatives are not tired or silent, but it’s mentally exhausting to come up with things that people downplay just so others can make money off of them later,” she said.

Around the same time she was talking about the plight of content creators, Monroe also sent her fans into a frenzy after pulling a pregnancy prank on them. The socialite took to Instagram to announce that she was three months pregnant, and her fans rejoiced.

However, it turns out the announcement was just a joke and Monroe is not ready to be a mum yet. In a follow-up post, the socialite told her followers that she was not pregnant and that her recent physique changes were part of her “grown woman phase”.

Her photos at the time sparked pregnancy rumours as she appeared to have a slightly bigger bump than she usually flaunts.
