Jamal Marlow Rohosafi, a well-known Kenyan businessman, is again grabbing headlines as he continues his quest for eternal youth through cosmetic procedures.

The entrepreneur, who had previously undergone a hair transplant, is currently in Turkey for the second phase of his hair restoration journey.

On Tuesday, September 26, 2023, Jamal shared a video on his Instagram account, documenting a hospital attendant treating him during his latest surgery.

In the video, he expressed his desire to defy the effects of aging, stating:

“Every human’s dream is to stay young forever.”

The post was accompanied by the soundtrack of ‘Young Forever’ by Jay-Z and Mr. Hudson, further emphasizing his aspiration.

Jamal Marlow Rohosafi has always been candid about his pursuit of maintaining a youthful appearance.

Earlier, he had publicly stated that his initial hair transplant was driven by the desire to regain his hairline and look more youthful.

This time around, he seems just as committed to his quest for eternal youth.

In a separate post on his social media platform, the matatu businessman shared a selfie with the caption, “Always love yourself first.”

In a surprising revelation, Jamal disclosed his plans to undergo a special procedure to reduce his body weight significantly.

He announced his intention to shed 20 kilograms in just four months.

Specifically, he mentioned his first step in the weight-loss journey, the “Allurion Intragastric Balloon.”

The Allurion Balloon is a novel weight-loss solution that starts as a swallowable pill and is subsequently inflated into a gastric balloon within the stomach by a healthcare professional.

This procedure can help individuals control their food intake, leading to significant weight loss.

Jamal is now part of a growing list of Kenyan celebrities who have opted for the same weight-loss procedure.

Actress Jackie Matubia underwent the procedure shortly after giving birth to her second child.

Within a mere two weeks, she achieved an impressive weight loss of nearly 6 kilograms.

The cost of the Allurion Intragastric Balloon procedure can vary significantly depending on several factors, including the location of the medical facility, the healthcare provider, and any additional services or follow-up care included in the package.

On average, the cost of the Allurion Balloon procedure was estimated to range from KSh 886,800 to KSh 1,330,200 in the US in 2021.
