Karen Nyamu admits ‘forcing’ issues and bagging Samidoh
Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu is undefeated. In fact, the clap-back queen is giving her detractors a run for their money, especially those who have been calling her names over her relationship with Mugithii maestro Samuel Muchoki aka Samidoh.
In her latest post on TikTok, Karen shared a video of her and her ‘man’ having lunch and lipsynching to a scene from her 2022 political campaign in Rware.
While on the campaign trail, Karen, a career lawyer and politician, could be heard asking the crowd, ‘Mimi naitwa Karen Nyamu wa nani? (My name is Karen Nyamu, who does she belong to?)’ to which the jovial residents responded, ‘Wa Samidoh, (to Samidoh)’ amidst laughter.
One of her fans challenged her, saying: “We are used to your forcing issues.

In a quick reply, Karen replied, “Nyinyi si mlishindwa kuforce ona sasa mngekuwa mnakulwa na love of your life kama mimi. (See, you didn’t force issues either and you would be enjoying life with the love of your life just like me).”

Karen has arguably done almost everything humanly possible to win Samidoh’s heart, a battle she has now won. She has had two children with the Kikuyu singer and even accompanied him on his music tours.
While her close relationship with Samidoh has caused problems with his wife, Edday Nderitu, Karen has stood strong, undaunted by the love and hate she has received from netizens.
Though her love life with Samidoh has not been smooth, Karen has maintained that one can overcome adversaries along the way with determination and an eye on the prize.
That said, late last year Karen flew to Dubai to meet Samidoh, who was enjoying a holiday with his wife and putting on a show.
Karen created drama at the venue and with videos of her ‘misbehaviour’ going viral on social media. She then announced that she had broken up with his baby daddy, but she was spotted back with him before the dust had settled.
The couple have been inseparable ever since.
