Mike Sonko: Why I don’t have a ‘Mpango wa Kando’
Former Nairobi Governor, Mike Sonko has emphatically stated that he would never entertain the idea of having a side chick.
Sonko, who is married to Primrose Mbuvi, told his TikTok followers that his primary focus is currently directed towards assisting fellow Kenyans in need.
The former governor initiated the session by discussing why he no longer engages in extramarital relationships, boasting about having lived a lively life in his younger days.
“You know, I used to be heavily involved with ladies a long time ago. Nowadays, I don’t have the same passion for them,” Sonko said, adding that he is no longer excited by beautiful girls.

“I simply admire them from a distance. I have spent many years enjoying life with my wife, so I don’t have the same drive for other women,” he said.
He also recounted how he became a father for the first time while still in school, admitting that he got carried away good life but that he has no regrets.
“I became a father while I was still in school… I even think I’m the youngest grandfather in Kenya. My second child has two daughters, and my firstborn also has two daughters, and I haven’t even reached 50 yet. I already have over five grandchildren,” Sonko said.
The 48-year-old then boasted about his financial prosperity, stating that he has always had money even in the past, making everything in life come easily to him.
“I started my affairs with women a long time ago because I had money, even while in school So it was like I started early. I have been with my wife for a long time, and now she’s more like a sister to me. You know, I have been married to my wife for 26 years!” Sonko said.
At the same time, Sonko has promised to support a needy schoolgirl whose case was widely shared online. Sonko has pledged to cover the student’s school fees, new school materials and also to ensure that she has an ample supply of food.
