Kitengela woman, 23, arrested after her lover, 59, dies while in bed with her

Police officers in Kitengela have arrested a 23-year-old woman after her 59-year-old lover died in her house on Wednesday, October 18, evening.

Police who have since launched an investigation said that the man died shortly after having lunch at her house along Balozi Road in Kitengela, Kajiado county.

The man who has since been positively identified is said to have been romantically involved with her for three years and often visited her place during the day and leaves in the evening.

On Wednesday, after the two had lunch which was prepared by the lady, police said they retired to bed together.

“She prepared meat stew and ugali, which they took for lunch. After eating, he requested that they proceed to the bedroom. At around 1600hrs, as they were making love, he fell unconscious. She placed him beside her, but unfortunately, the deceased went for a long call on the bed,” police said in their report.

According to the police, the man’s female companion is said to have called a friend after noticing the deceased had become unconscious to assist her in taking him to the hospital.

They rushed him to hospital, where he was confirmed dead on arrival.

Last month, a 77-year-old man was discovered dead in a lodging in the Mwala area of Machakos county.

According to the police, the deceased was with a 32-year-old woman when he suddenly collapsed and died at a hotel in Masii market.

The elderly man had booked the room together with the woman.

The woman is said to have rushed to the reception, saying the old man was gasping for air, prompting the hotel management to respond.

Upon arrival, they found the man lying naked and unconscious. It was later confirmed that the man had died.

Police who arrived at the scene discovered 25 sachets of sexual boosters, four empty.

The man had consumed four of those sachets, which police suspect may have contributed to his death.

The woman was questioned and then released to await an autopsy report, which will determine the cause of death.
