KOT disagree with Matiang’i decision to arrest head teacher
Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) have shared their frustrations with Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i decision to arrest the Head Teacher of a High School that recently suffered a bandit attack.
Matiang’i explained that the Tot High School headteacher should be made to account for violating government policy on the movement of school buses and students at the time the attack happened.

But a section of Kenyans say the government is shifting blame after failing to provide security in the area.
Tot School students were among those attacked by bandits on Thursday, February 17.
Here are some of the reactions.
Stop shifting the blame!!
This is just a song that we sing over and over year in year out. We are tired of the same old song without any tangible results! Someone should be held accountable for the mess that never ends!!— Steve M (@SteveMaina247) February 18, 2022
Looks like @FredMatiangi has lost his mind. To justify his monthly pay and daily allowances he has to be seen to be working even if it means skirting around the main problem. Bure kabisa.

Will the arrest of the school principal solve the problem of banditry in the area? CS should do better!

After you promised safety in that area, I wonder why the Principal who is already a victim (students & teachers injured) is being the main target yet there is no evidence that the delay on the road past 6:30 pm is voluntary? This energy should be channeled to fight insecurity https://t.co/hhNlUkIUKI
