4:14 pm: A second protester gunned down at Nakuru’s Soko Mjinga. This brings the total number of protesters shot dead in Nakuru to two. Those nursing gunshot wounds at the Nakuru Level Five Hospital are three.
3:30 pm: Police have managed to contain rowdy crowd in Mlolongo that was attempting to access the highway.
3.15 pm: Lamu Island. No Maandamano. Business as usual. Very calm.
2:46 pm: Tension is building up at Wote Town in Makueni County, where a man has been shot dead as anti-riot police intensify efforts to clamp down on riots.
Police are currently engaging demonstrators in running battles in town.
2:22 pm: Three other people have been admitted at the Nakuru Level 6 hospital with gunshot injuries.
2:22 pm: Tension brewing at Jacaranda. Police and civilians in a cat-and-mouse game.
2:20 pm: One person killed at Stima Line in Nakuru town West during the anti-government protests in Nakuru.
1:53 pm: Police officers give a soft drink to a lone protestor after he complained of hunger.
1:34 pm: A group of youth are spotted patrolling around Bee Centre, Embakasi. They’re armed with sticks.
1:40 pm: Chaos starts building up in the Mlolongo area.
1: 30 pm: Hotel property belonging to Nakuru Town West MP Samuel Arama was vandalised by anti-government protestors in Nakuru.

11.32 am: Business as usual in most parts of Ukunda in Kwale County. No police presence, transport and shops are operating normally.

11.15 am: In Karatina town, Nyeri County, matatu are parked at the main terminus. Operators reported very low business as passengers kept away as the impact of countrywide demonstrations called by Azimio took a toll on the transport sector.

10:57 am: In Kitengela, police officers are patroling the town. No grouping allowed within town. Town at a standstill.
10:56 am: Several people arrested in Ganjoni following anti-government protests in Mombasa.
10:53 am: In Woodley, Kibra, the protestors, and police continue actively engaging. They push police to Joseph Kang’ethe road.
10:53 am: At Jacaranda grounds, police officers are just chilling. They are lying on the ground. It’s calm. Police vehicles are on standby. All present are plainclothes police.
10.50 am: Protestors regroup at Sports along Moi Avenue Mombasa. Burn tires but are dispersed by police.

10: 36 am: In Woodley, Kibra. Police and youth engage in running battles. Police lob teargas as protestors hurl stones.
10.35 am: Kisumu Central MP Joshua Oron, MCAs, and other area leaders move with protestors from Kibos, Manyatta to Nyamasaria, holding a peaceful match.
10:35 am: Police patrol roads in Machakos town as businesses close. Tension is building.
10.30 am: In Voi, Taita Taveta County, traders proceed with their normal activities at Caltex area along the Nairobi-Mombasa highway.

8:20 am: Most shops remain closed in Nairobi’s Central Business District (CBD) following anxiety over the anti-government demonstrations.
8:17 am: Protestors barricade Homa Bay-Rongo road as heavy police presence is seen on the streets of Homa Bay town. Businesses are closed in Homa Bay.
8.16 am: Most businesses in Kitengela are opened. There are a few PSV vehicles operating to Nairobi. There is heavy police presence.
