Mama Rachel Ruto awarded the KISS Humanitarian award
Kenya’s First Lady, Mama Rachel Ruto, has been bestowed with the KISS Humanitarian Award at the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences in Bhubaneswar, India.
The award organizers say the recognition ‘comes as a testament to her unwavering commitment to improving the welfare of women, children, and vulnerable communities through various initiatives spanning financial inclusion, climate action, livelihoods, and education’.
Ms Ruto took to her social media platforms to share her acceptance speech and reaffirmed her dedication to championing the rights and well-being of those in need, highlighting the importance of her ongoing efforts to uplift marginalized sections of society.
