Mugiithi artiste Samidoh shares heartfelt moments with his family in the US

Renowned Mugiithi artiste Samuel Muchoki, better known by his stage name Samidoh, is making headlines with his family visit to the United States.

The popular musician known for his soulful rendition of Kikuyu music has been offering glimpses of his American adventure through social media.

Samidoh celebrated his firstborn daughter Sharleen’s graduation.

Taking to social media, the proud father of five shared a series of touching photos with his family, along with a heartfelt message congratulating his daughter on her academic milestone.

In his post, Samidoh reflected on the journey they have shared since Sharleen was born.

He reminisced about the challenging times he faced as a young, jobless father who had just completed his secondary education.

“My daughter, child of my youth, you were born shortly after I exited my teenage years. It was a very confusing time for me. I didn’t know whether to go back to school, to feed you, or to fend for myself. Ours has been a journey in which we have seen each other grow. Today, I am very proud of you. As I see you graduate to high school – this!” he wrote.

Samidoh’s post did not just stop at that.

He also looked forward, wishing Sharleen all the best in her future endeavors.

“I wouldn’t have missed it for anything in the world. My girl, I wish you greatness. Go and conquer because the world is all yours. Congratulations!! As you turn a year older, I wish you a Happy Birthday. Thank you for making Daddy proud,” he added.

The joyous moment was further highlighted by a tender photo of Samidoh with his youngest daughter, Nimo, in the living room of Edday Nderitu, Sharleen’s mother.

Samidoh recently announced he had taken a break from music to be with family. He will resume his music performances in July.
