Ne-Yo to perform in Kampala mega concert
American RnB singer and songwriter Ne-Yo will on Friday be in Uganda for a mega concert dubbed ‘Bell Pop n’ Jam.’
The Sexy Love hit maker will be performing with his entire entourage of dancers whom the Bell Lager company said they spent Ush 4 billion to fly in.
According to bigeye.ug, the singer was invited to the country by the Uganda Breweries Limited to give Ugandan youths a lifetime experience with an international performer.
No tickets were sold for the concert with those willing to attend only required to sms codes obtained from the Bell Lager beer bottle tops for confirmation of their attendance.
The Friday night concert that will take place at the Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala is however expected to draw a huge audience.
Ugandan artists Jose Chameleone and rapper Navio will also perform in the mega concert.
Ne-Yo was in Kenya in August this year during the Coke Studio recording where he worked with several Kenyan artists among them Wangeci.
He was also reported to have worked on a collabo with Tanzania’s Diamond Platinumz during the Coke Studio recording.
Ne-Yo has produced several albums the latest being Non–Fiction which was released in January 2015 becoming number five on the US Billboard Top 200, making him the second male RnB artist to have six consecutive top 10 albums.
