Pastor Ezekiel narrates struggle with infertility

Popular televangelist pastor Ezekiel Odero has opened up on the struggles he and his wife, have gone through in a bid to have children.

While speaking to a congregation in Tanzania, the man of cloth revealed he had been impotent for a while at a time he was trying to have a child. To complicate the matter, his wife too had a medical situation.

“There was one time I attended a crusade such as this. I was sterile, struggling with infertility. My wife here also had a growth in her womb for nine years. But today we have our three children about to finish their secondary education at an international school. The God who cured me will heal you too in five days,” Pastor Odero exclaimed.

The pastor who has been in Tanzania for his evangelism mission also donated Sh11 million to victims of Hanang in Manyara province where 80 people lost their lives due to floods three months ago.

Odero whose popularity has grown in leaps and bounds became the talk of the town in 2023 when he was arrested and questioned over hundreds of deaths of Kenyans that reportedly happened in the church in Shakahola, along the Kenyan coast.

He was however freed by a Shanzu court after the prosecution said investigations against him had been completed and the case file closed.

Principal Magistrate Joe Omido discharged the preacher from the case after prosecutor Anthony Musyoka told the court that the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Renson Ingonga was of the opinion that the case file against Mr Odero should be closed.
