Scare as gas cylinders explode in Zimmerman shop
Property of an unknown value was destroyed on Friday morning when fire broke out in a gas supply shop in Zimmerman, Kasarani Nairobi.
Kasarani OCPD Robinson Mboloi said the fire started at 4:45am in the shop which supplies LPG and spread to first and second floors.
No one was injured.
“The cause of fire is yet to be established and the owner was not available for us to estimate the value of the destruction,” said Mr Mboloi.
“The inferno was immediately put out by fire engines from the Nairobi City Council.”
