Tanzanian artiste Marioo and girlfriend Paula announce pregnancy
Tanzanian social media influencer Paula, daughter of renowned actress Frida Kajala, and singer Marioo have announced that they are expecting their first child together.
The couple took to their respective social media platforms to share the joyful news with their followers.
The ‘Mir Amor’ hitmaker, expressing his happiness, wrote on Instagram:
“Adding a new member to our squad! Soon Inshaalah 🙏🏾 Proud of you Malkia ❤️ @therealpaulahkajala Mungu akubariki wewe na Familia.”
Paula echoed the sentiment, stating, “Am having a baby with my baby 🥹❤️ From two to three 🧑🧑🧒.”
Marioo and Paula’s relationship has been in the spotlight for some time, with rumors of Paula’s pregnancy circulating late last year.
Before her relationship with Marioo, Paula had been romantically linked with two other musicians, Harmonize and Rayvanny.
Paula’s past relationship with Rayvanny, in particular, garnered attention due to their highly publicized breakup.

In 2023, Paula made headlines when she declared on Instagram that she would “rather die” than reconcile with her ex-boyfriend Rayvanny.
This statement came alongside a cryptic post featuring lyrics from Marioo’s song questioning whether one would return to their ex or prefer death, to which Paula responded unequivocally, “Bora Kufa” (I’d rather die).
Rayvanny and Paula’s split occurred in 2022, and despite occasional hints of reconciliation, it is now evident that both parties have moved on.
Rayvanny has since rekindled his relationship with his baby mama Fahvanny, even getting a tattoo of her name on his wrist as a symbol of their renewed commitment.
