The greatest ‘sin’ is to have children with different fathers – Pastor tells Kenyan women
In one of his past sermons during a mass, Father Charles Kinyua was preaching about how one can go about ending their sufferings and make peace with their circumstances in order to obtain forgiveness and deliverance.
He spoke on two things one has to make peace with- ‘lost blood’ in case a woman had an abortion, miscarriage or a stillbirth, and the second one is making peace with having several children with several men.
“The second one is a mother with three children, and they all have different fathers. When they meet, inakaa kama nyumba ya wazee kumi (it looks like a Nyumba Kumi committee meeting ). When they speak, they are not using one language. You have to make peace. The first thing is you have to forgive yourself for denying your children a common inheritance. Common genetical inheritance because the greatest ‘mistake’- ‘sin’ is to have children with different fathers. And then you continue breathing and eating Ugali.

If you have children that have different fathers, your deliverance is complicated. Whether you go to Rome or Israel until you make peace with that…If you have a child, and it is your firstborn and that is not the first fruit of your womb, my dear, your case is complicated a little bit. Make peace with it,” said Father Kinyua in part.
He preached this, moving the congregation to ask themselves if they were part of the reasons why they were suffering, saying they could have created their own problems for themselves in the first place.
“Now we want God to come and deliver us from problems that we brought upon ourselves. Precious ladies, 89% of your problems you can solve without leaving your home. Deliverance is never possible without the mother, especially for the children. Family deliverance is only possible when the mother is participating spiritually,” added Father Kinyua.
His sermon elicited mixed reactions as many wondered whether the same could be said for men who had several children by different women, while others disagreed with Father Kinyua’s position on the matter.
“Teachings are fine but they should be supported with scriptures too,” said Roxin Silver.
“You are saying very deep things. Very spiritual. Very many people will not understand this message,” added Dennis Chege.
“Ladies in Christ, you’re new creatures. This internet has so many advisors. Don’t follow anything or anyone to take your peace,” opined Essy.
“I wish he was able to support these allegations with scriptures,” added Fred Ke.
