WATCH – Ali Kiba: Signing divorce papers is not a problem for me
Tanzanian superstar Ali Kiba has responded to rumours about his alleged divorce to his Kenyan wife, Amina Khalef, who last week publicly asked the artiste to sign the divorce papers.
During a press conference in Nairobi on Thursday, June 21, the renowned musician said signing the divorce papers is not a problem for him.
Ali Kiba, who is not only celebrating his two decades in the music industry but also making waves with his hit song Mahaba, was asked about his how he stays away from drama in his life.

In response, he emphasized the importance of not entertaining unnecessary drama and scandals.
“Sometimes there are sweet dramas and then there are boring (dramas). I don’t entertain any of them. People create dramas and scandals, but the results of treating that stress are hard. If you can’t solve it, then leave it and leave it to God, and if you have to solve it, then solve it. Then you have to relax, and even that divorce paper is not a problem,” he said.

Last week, Ali Kiba’s wife, Amina expressed her frustration with the singer’s alleged disrespect and is now demanding that he signs the divorce papers and sets her free.
In a statement shared on Thursday, June 15, 2023, Amina revealed that despite their separation, she continues to face frustrations caused by Ali Kiba.
She said while she has distanced herself from the relationship, Ali Kiba has kept her hostage by referring to her as “someone’s wife” while living his life without any restrictions.

Meanwhile, during the press briefing in Nairobi, Ali Kiba expressed his gratitude to the Grammys for their recognition of the hard work and dedication displayed by African musicians.
He stressed the significance of delivering high-quality music that meets the required standards, acknowledging past failures in this aspect.
“We have been making a lot of noise, but when you do something beautiful, it is recognized. What failed us in the past was the quality of music we were delivering. We didn’t hit the required standards,” he remarked.
The Bongo artiste is in Kenya to perform at WRC Safari Rally after which he will embark on a musical tour of the country.
