Wema Sepetu on why men will always cheat

By Rajab Zawadi November 22nd, 2023 2 min read

Popular Tanzanian actress Wema Sepetu says she has found her peace in living with the hurtful truth that no man can ever be satisfied being with one woman.

Wema who has been dating singer Whozu for close to two years now, maintains it’s difficult for a man to remain loyal to one woman.

“There is no man with just one woman, it’s in their nature not to remain loyal to a single woman. Even if the man doesn’t have another woman now, he will eventually end up having more than one. It’s the sad, hurtful truth that we need to accept. I have accepted it,” Wema voiced.

Even though she says her sentiments aren’t to be interpreted in a manner to mean that Whozu might be cheating on him, she states that at the end of the day, he is a man, and as such anything can happen.

And though Wema says she remains committed to her relationship with Whozu, the actress feels their union isn’t yet complete as she continues to struggle to have a child.

“I love him so much and he loves me too however there is one thing (child) that I need to accomplish for him to cement our love. If it ever happens then that would be wonderful but I love him to death.” Wema confessed.

For over a decade now, since failing to carry her pregnancy to term as a 20-year-old, Wema has been struggling to carry a child to term.

She has been conceiving but has never been successful in carrying the pregnancy to term.

In 2016, her union with former Big Brother África winner Idris Sultán ended just weeks after she lost their pregnancy of twins.

In 2020, Wema claimed her former ex-lover the late actor Steven Kanumba ‘cursed that she will never have’ a child after the two separated owing to personal challenges.
