Woman fighting for her life after being thrown out of lodging through the window
A woman is fighting for her life at the Mama Lucy Hospital after she was thrown from inside a lodging room through the window to the ground floor.
In a case that police officers consider attempted murder, the woman and man arrived at the room in the wee hours of Tuesday morning.

They were served by a lady who reported the matter at Kamkunji Police Station and who was identified as Ms. Grace Njambi.
“She reported that at 0640hrs, two people, a man and a woman booked a room. A few minutes later, she heard a commotion from inside the room and later a loud thud was heard from outside the building and immediately the man escaped,” a police report seen by this reporter read in part.

Ms Njambi then dashed to the room and found out that the woman had been thrown out of the window of the lodging before the man escaped.
Police officers from Kamkunji Police Station rushed to the scene of the crime, where they took the woman to Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital.
According to the report, the woman appeared so drunk and could not explain what had transpired at the time.
Currently, sleuths attached to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have launched a manhunt for the suspect at large.

A man scheduled to appear in court today, Thursday, November 24, 2022, committed suicide at his home in Kibwezi, Makueni County.
Mr. Francis Munyao, 72, was found hanging from the top of a tree, and he had left behind a suicide note stating that he could not stand a jail term.
“The deceased was supposed to appear before Makindu Law Courts for ruling of the defilement case. The scene was processed and the body removed to Kambuu Sub County hospital morgue,” the police report read.
