Women, go bananas and you’ll have a boy – study

Women can easily influence the gender of their child depending on the kind of food they eat before conceiving.

A new research suggests that eating lots of bananas prior to conception significantly increases the probability of a woman to deliver a son.

Bananas are rich in potassium

The research by UK scientists studied more than 700 women during their first pregnancies and seemed to support previous links between diet and gender while disproving others.

The findings supports support practises where pregnant women were forced to increase potassium intake through eating foods like banana which was associated with delivering a boy.

However, the study disproved the age-old tale that a woman increases her chances of having a girl if she drinks a lot of milk before and during pregnancy.

According to the study, more calcium from the milk means one still increases the chance of conceiving a son.
