Is AY dating former Miss Tanzania?
The Tanzanian showbiz scene is awash with gossip about rapper and entrepreneur Ambwene ‘AY’ Yessayah alleged cosy relationship with former Miss Tanzania Sitti Mtemvu after the couple were spotted in a seemingly romantic outing at Dar es Salaams’ Mbudya Island.
The exclusive island is mostly frequented by celebrities and businessmen. However, when asked on air by Clouds FM to confirm the allegations, AY said Sitti was just a friend who was available to go to the beach.
The singer also denied being in a relationship with Kenyan songbird Victoria Kimani, as has been rumored.
Speaking to Nairobi News on Wednesday, AY maintained that he was single.
“I am not in a relationship with anyone now. I’m currently promoting my international single ‘Touch Me’, featuring Sean Kingston. That’s what’s on my mind right now,” he said.
AY is currently in Kenya doing an M-Net project alongside other East African artistes.
