Anxiety over car abandoned in Lang’ata estate

By LYNET IGADWAH November 30th, 2013 1 min read

A business owner in Lang’ata is expressing concern over an abandoned vehicle in her compound.

Dorothy Kioko who operates a hardware shop and a supermarket says the vehicle has remained unclaimed in her compound for close to a week.

“I reported the matter to Langa’ata Police station and officers there promised to assist but they have remained mum to date, ” she says.

Ms Kioko says she is now stuck with a vehicle whose owner she does not know and is blocking clients from accessing her premise.

Sam Juma, the guard at the compound which houses other businesses including a pub, a chemist and butchery says the car has been there since Saturday night.

“We have instances of clients leaving their vehicles here but they never take this long to come for them,” he said.

Ms Kioko is now appealing to members of public who know the owner of the car to link her with them.
