Actor Abel Mutua appeals for financial assistance for brother’s burial


Award-winning actor and scriptwriter Abel Mutua is grappling with the devastating loss of his younger brother, Raphael Mbuvi Musyoka, also known as Rapho.

The 23-year-old’s untimely death has left the family in shock and mourning.

Mutua took to his social media platforms, particularly Instagram and Twitter, to appeal for financial assistance from well-wishers to give Rapho a dignified farewell.

A poster shared on Mutua’s Instagram page displayed a heartfelt message:

“Til we meet again little bro. Can’t believe all that football talent will never be appreciated. #RIPRapho.”

The family is yet to share the circumstances surrounding his tragic death.

However, amidst the mourning, Mutua finds himself facing accusations of neglecting his younger brother, accusations that he has promised to address in due time.

In a statement, Mutua revealed that Rapho had been ill for some time, expressing gratitude for the support received and assuring that he will share his brother’s story to help others.

“Thank you so much Wakurugenzi for the love that you’re sending our way. A good number of you know the truth and you have stood with us since my brother became ill. I’ll tell Rapho’s story because I know it’ll save someone and his death won’t be in vain. See you after the burial,” Mutua shared on Twitter.

As the family prepares to bid farewell to Rapho, the Kenyan entertainment community and fans are rallying to support Abel Mutua during this challenging time.
