Danstan Omari excites KOT with his high profile cases
Lawyer Danstan Omari is a familiar face in many court cases in Kenya. Omari, who started his career in law while in his 40s, is one of the most sought-after lawyers in the country.
Mr Omari has in the past represented numerous high-profile clients, including President William Ruto, former Chief Justice David Maraga, former Meru Senator Mithika Linturi, Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza, former IEBC vice chair Juliana Cherera and now former Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang’i.
He has also represented women who accuse their baby daddies of absconding from their duties.

Mr Omari’s newest client is Pokot South MP David Pkosing who was arrested for facilitating the operations of bandits in Northern Kenya. Mr Omari who was with his client barely hours after being with Dr Matiang’i after police raided his home.
Speaking regarding Pkosing’s case the lawyer took issue with the manner police officers reportedly stormed the MP’s office and took him into custody, saying a mere summon would’ve sufficed.
This perhaps explains why Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) have been amazed by the frequency Mr Omari is taking on high profile cases in the country.
