You are irrelevant, try running for MCA, Salasya fires back at Miguna
Member of Parliament for Mumias East Peter Salasya has fired back at lawyer Miguna Miguna for saying that he does not deserve to be a parliamentarian.
Dr Miguna made the comment after Salasya, a first-time MP, dismissed demands by Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Gladys Shollei that he apologises to Bomet Woman Representative Linet Chepkorir for sexually derogatory remarks he made, failure to which he would be barred from speaking in the House.
But while responding to Miguna, Mr Salasya said their fiery lawyer has become irrelevant and that he should consider running for Member of County Assembly. The MP also told Miguna that he should forget being offered a job in the Kenya Kwanza government.

The unfolding saga started last weekend when Salasya made a sexual slur on Toto after she criticised Azimio la Umoja party leader Raila Odinga for always lamenting over election irregularities.
Toto blasted Mr Odinga for claiming all the General Elections he has ever participated in were rigged in favour of his opponents.

“This old man started his political protests even before I was born. He started in 1997, then came to 2007, 2013, 2017 and 2022 and he claims that the election was rigged. I want to tell you that President (William) Ruto was voted in by Kenyans as their fifth President,” she blurted out.
Her utterances prompted a response from Salasya who said he would impregnate the Woman Rep.
“And those young people who are abusing baba… There is one who was voted in but did not have any money like Peter Salasya. She is called Toto, I will go and impregnate her next week,” he said.
