Jose Chameleone’s wife Daniella opens up about life as a single mother

Daniella Atim, the wife of Ugandan musician Jose Chameleone, has revealed that she considers herself a single mother who left Uganda five years ago for the United States.

Sharing insights into her life in a Minnesota suburb with her five children, Atim expressed gratitude for the transformative power of faith in Jesus, emphasizing how His grace, love, and mercy have changed her life.

“I live in a Minnesota suburb with my five children, my faith is anchored in Jesus, His Grace, love and mercy changed everything for me. I am social and love to be around people,” she wrote in the heartfelt post.

Atim, turning 40 years also bravely disclosed her past experiences with domestic violence.

“I wasn’t social for a very long time and I am enjoying it now. I am a foodie and I love coffee and hot tea. I moved to the US exactly five years ago and sought asylum from many things including domestic violence that I endured for 16 years,” she shared.

Despite the challenges she has faced, Atim expressed resilience and determination in her role as a single mother, navigating the complexities of raising five children on her own.

“I am a single mum raising my five kids on my own. Even though the age I’m turning this year seems too serious,” she said.

Optimistic about the future, Atim affirmed her commitment to personal growth and healing. “I am choosing to relive my early life while healing my nervous system. I am a beautiful work in progress,” she concluded.

In the past, Chameleone’s wife spoke about his excessive alcohol consumption which was a major problem in their marriage.

Atim recounted how Chameleone’s drinking habits often led him to come home in the early hours of the morning.

During his graduation in August 2023, Chameleon’s father spoke to the musician, appealing to him to stop taking alcohol.

His father told him that they would lose the singer if he continued with this habit.

He spoke at Jose’s graduation dinner where family and friends were gathered.

At the time, he had been in the hospital with stomach complications.
