Karen Nyamu on Samidoh’s nephew’s brutal death
Nominated Senator Karen and Samidoh’s baby mama Karen Nyamu has commented on the mysterious death of Samidoh’s nephew Jeff Mwathi.
According to police records, 24-year-old Mwathi, alias Jeff, fatally fell from the 12th floor of a residential building named Redwood Apartments, around Safari Park Estate on February 22.
Mugithi singer DJ Fatxo is a person of interest in the case.
A fan identified as Carol Prize asked the lawyer-cum politician to help the family get justice.
“Aki baby gal fight for Jeff’s justice I know you got the capability of being a lawyer,” she wrote.

Responding to the comment, Karen Nyamu said the homicide department had taken over the matter.
“We are waiting for arrests any minute now,” she wrote.
Jeff was in DJ Faxto’s house after spending the night partying with the popular Mugithi singer and his three friends.
Reports say Jeff had met the singer hours earlier for an interior design job and had been promised a down payment to begin work that same morning.
After the business meeting, Jeff joined DJ Fatxo for drinks as they hit more than three clubs in one night, eventually ending up at Redwood Apartments some minutes past 3 am.
A few minutes past 5 am, Jeff would later be captured on CCTV cameras falling from the singer’s house window to his grisly death.

The DJ, through his lawyer, says he is working with the police investigating the mysterious death.
Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki on Friday, 10th February 2023, instructed Directorate of Criminal Investigations Mohamed Amin to conduct intensive investigations into the matter.
“On the matter of the late Jeff Mwathi, have spoken to the DCI Amin this morning and instructed him to send a homicide team from the DCI headquarters to thoroughly investigate the incident and take the necessary action,” Kindiki wrote on his Facebook page.
The CS further appreciated the efforts by the DCI to act on the matter.
“The homicide team from the DCI headquarters is dispassionate, and this will help resolve the claims of collusion at Kasarani Police Station where the matter was reported.”
DCI has since assured the public that no stone shall be left unturned in the investigation of this case. “Any person found to have been involved in the death shall face the full force of the law.”
