The heart-wrenching journey from the United States to his homeland concluded as Mr Osore’s remains arrived at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on September 12, 2023.
Felix Osore, the grieving brother of the deceased, provided an exclusive statement to Nairobi News, confirming that the body had landed at JKIA around 11 am local time.

Subsequently, the remains were transported to Montezuma Funeral Home, where a viewing was arranged for friends and relatives.
A requiem mass in memory of Stafford Osore is scheduled for Thursday, September 14, 2023, at Nairobi Central Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Church Maxwell, commencing at 1 pm.
The arrival of Mr Osore’s body at JKIA brought together a gathering of friends and relatives who sought to pay their respects to the departed.
They congregated at the airport to witness the arrival before the body was transported to the funeral home.
Felix, who also resides in the USA, recounted the day of his brother’s arrival. He mentioned that upon landing in New York, Stafford had reassured the family by posting a message on their WhatsApp group, confirming his safe arrival.
“All that time, I was waiting for him at the airport, hoping to see him, but this never happened. Little did I know that my brother had already collapsed and was receiving medical attention,” Felix Osore said.

He had gone to the airport to pick up his late brother, accompanied by his two young children, a 7-year-old son and a 2-year-old daughter. Tragically, they never had the opportunity to see Stafford alive again.
The family revealed preliminary findings regarding the cause of Stafford Osore’s untimely death.
Medical professionals discovered blood clots in both of his legs, with the right leg being significantly more swollen than the left.
The clot from his right leg traveled to his lungs, ultimately leading to his demise.
However, the final cause of death will be officially determined and disclosed by the medical team, including pathologists, who conducted a series of tests on Mr Osore’s body.
This information is expected to be made public within three months, providing closure to the family and loved ones.
