According to a businessman, Julius Gathuka, the deceased had bought some gas cylinder but could not fix it when he went to the house. He returned the gas cylinder to Ruai shopping centre in the company of Mr Gathuka.
His son opened the gate for him and they were immediately confronted by the two men armed with Ceska pistols.
The gangsters robbed Mr Gathuka of Sh20, 000 but when Mr Kiambati attempted to switch on the alarm, he was shot three times.
