Muddy access roads ruins travellers’ train experience – PHOTOS
Photos of the muddy access road to the SGR station in Miritini, Mombasa, have lit up the internet with users discussing the need to have better infrastructure.
In the photos, travellers can be seen ascending a muddy hill to the station with luggages on their backs and heads.
The access road to the station is in a bad state and taxi drivers are reportedly charging up to Sh2000 from Mombasa town to Miritini.
Online have widely shared the photos, tagging Kenya Railways and the operator China Bridge and Roads Corporation.
